Hi!
I've started on making my first partial fursuit. Its definitely a learning experience since I've never really been crafty or sewn before, but I'm having fun with it so far.
Right now I am currently waiting for Christmas and my birthday to roll around so I can get more money to buy the rest of my fabric, more foam for other suits, and materials for the eyes. So this is a perfect opportunity for me to try and perfect my head shape on my current head, and I need help.
I didn't know that a pattern was necessary for making your head until I had already begun working on mine, so my head is kind of struggling with the symmetry aspect. I'm also having trouble with making the carving look "natural", because at the moment it looks chunky and the muzzle, to quote my partner, looks like "a duck".
If anyone has any advice for refurbishing what I've already done, please let me know and I can send you a picture of it in a reply (hopefully I can,,). I don't have anyone around my area that's very familiar with fursuit making, so I need someone to look at what I've done to help me figure out where I'm stuck and what to do.
